Eskom ready for winter

Managing Director of Corporate Affairs Chose Choeu says that load shedding is not on the menu at the moment. “Last year, we worked throughout winter. We have a surplus of electricity and we have given some to our neighbours. We are ready.” Despite prospects of keeping the lights on, Eskom has warned consumers to save energy and minimise equipment failure by using gas, oil or infrared heaters, solar heating and dressing warmly.   read more
